Office and Project Administrator
The Office & Project Administrator position is an integral part of the company’s organizational and divisional growth by taking a leadership role in both managing the office functions as well as the estimating process as part of the tendering phase of a project. Office & Project Administrators possess experience with customer service, mechanical, construction and fabrication projects as well as strong financial and construction budgetary skills. Office & Project Administrators demonstrate and apply exceptional communication, numerical and reporting skills. Office & Project Administrators are responsible for accurately calculating the total costs associated with a project and for working with the local division team including the Division Manager, Area Superintendent, Shop Superintendent, Project Superintendent and/or Project Lead to ensure projects come in both on-time as well as at or under budget.
Seeking a motivated and quality minded individual to work in our Monster Industries' paint facility in Houston, BC. Projects include, but are not limited to coatings of structural steel, handrails, stairs, pipe, casing and other projects.Qualifications:
Must have industrial painting / sandblasting experience. The successful applicant must be quality minded, motivated, able to work independently, communicate well with others, problem solve, take direction from the Shop Superintendent and/or Project Manager. You must be willing to learn and have an eye for detail. Must be able to diligently and accurately test materials (paint thickness etc.) and produce quality control documents. This role will include assisting the Division Manager in the areas of material procurement and delivery, materials cost, delivery & type, internal manpower scheduling, project status reporting, assist in reports that need to be prepared for clients and project managers. Responsibility will include directing tasks, making sure materials procured comply with estimated costs and arrive on the job sites in accordance with the project schedule. This position assists the Division Manager in reviewing budget, workflow and deliverables for multiple, complex projects, and other duties as called upon.

Must have experience in project procurement and logistics. The successful applicant must possess the ability to foresee potential areas of improvement as well as the ability to trouble shoot immediate issues. You must be quality minded, motivated, able to work independently, communicate well with others, problem solve, take direction from the Division and or Project Manager. You are a results-oriented person, a motivated team player and possess strong interpersonal skills. Expert use of MS Excel and experience with MS Project required.
